Santa Fe was a completely mystery at first. I went by myself and felt intrigued and scared until I met Nathalie; my trip changed completely becoming one of the most wonderful experiences I've ever had. I have to say the trip on the High Road to Taos was the highlight of my trip. Nathalie was very generous with her time and made and effort to make the excursions personally relevant to me. I could never have experienced so much on my own. Having Nathalie take me around was as close to a good friend showing another good friend the place they love and want to share; as one could expect. I was hesitant to indulge myself in a private tour but it was one of my better ideas.

A huge thank you for this fabulous 5 day trip in the Southwest with you as a guide from Travel Heart.
The trip that I asked you to prepare was perfect (The Grand Canyon visit, with its Sunset and sunrise) beautiful (Sedona and its vortex) extremely rejuvenating.
The visit of Santa Fe, NM and its artistic galleries was pure enrichment. And all the other visits that you prepared for me were wonderful surprises and great spiritual discoveries.
Rejuvenate, find some inner calm and wisdom, this is what I expected from this trip, and I got it all! Bravo!!! Bravo for your professionalism.

My wife, Terri and I hired Nathalie Bonnard of Travel Heart to serve as a tour guide on our recent trip to Santa Fe, NM and we were extremely pleased. We located Travel Heart from the Santa Fe convention and Visitors bureau web page listing possible tour operators. First, when I called her, the quoted rate struck me as very reasonable.
Both of us are blind. Nathalie listened to my expectations and developed a package based on them. This served as a framework, but she was very flexible and we got the type and amount of touring that we wanted!
Though we take our blindness largely for granted, it surprises and maybe even frightens many. Nathalie had no special experience providing tours for the blind, but she made a point of showing us by touch architectural and other features that distinguish Santa Fe. We went with her to the Saturday farmers’ market, an activity we enjoy but one that is sometimes a challenge as two blind people. She was a great help combing through the offerings at the market. She accompanied us to the International Folk Art Festival where she would point out interesting baskets, pottery, wood and metal work, three-dimensional art forms that can be well understood by touch. Nathalie was friendly, intelligent and engaged. We have hired several personal guides in our travels in the United States and Caribbean and we would strongly recommend Nathalie as among the best.
We learned that she offers customized tours of other places in the American Southwest including the Grand Canyon and Sedona. We spent a little time in Sedona and would love to go back. We’ve never been to the Grand Canyon, but of course it is one of the most dramatic natural wonders in the United States. In either case, we would be excited to hire Nathalie on any tour of these places we take.
